Apprenticeships and traineeships2023-11-07T12:58:32+10:00

Sunshine Sugar offers Apprenticeship and Traineeship positions each year across its three milling sites.

Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way to combine exceptional training with the security of paid work, where you can gain a nationally recognised qualification and learn practical skills that will be highly valued in any workplace.

As a Sunshine Sugar apprentice or trainee, your on-the-job training will take place within one of our three mills located at Condong, Broadwater or Harwood, or our refinery which is co-located at the Harwood mill site.

You will gain experience in a variety of tasks as you are mentored by one of our qualified and experienced professionals. You also receive guidance to develop your personal workplace skills which will broaden your career opportunities in the future.

Our apprenticeship and traineeship program trains people to become qualified in a particular trade. Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognised trade certificate.

We provide a structured apprenticeship or traineeship process, supported by theory components through local TAFE.

Sunshine Sugar take very seriously their commitment to creating employment opportunities in the Northern Rivers of NSW and we have a culture and policy of equal employment opportunities and promote a smoke free workplace.
