Driver Reviver

Sunshine Sugar has been a proud support of the Driver Reviver campaign for many years. In that time, we have donated millions sugar sachets to volunteer-manned rest stops across Australia.

The Driver Reviver program operates throughout Australia during school/university holidays and over long weekends to reduce fatigue-related crashes on our roads.

Foodbank

Foodbank is the pantry to the charity sector in Australia. Some 5 million Australians have experienced food insecurity in the last 12 months and the number of people seeking food relief from charities is increasing.

Sunshine Sugar is proud to support Foodbank in their massive and highly co-ordinated effort providing food for 815,000 Australians via a network of 2,400 charities in every Australian state and territory each month. Our donation to Simplot’s annual Food Collaboration campaign helps produce more than 242,000 jars of Leggo’s pasta sauce each year for Foodbank.

Country Women’s Association (CWA) of New South Wales

The CWA is the largest women’s organisation in Australia and aims to improve conditions for country women and children. We reach that aim in various ways including lobbying for change, helping the local community, creating a network of support and meeting together in towns and cities. Sunshine Sugar supports the CWA of NSW each year by donating sugar sachets for their famous Sydney Royal Easter Show Devonshire Teas.

Sunshine Sugar is committed to supporting the local communities in which we operate. The Northern Rivers abounds with a diversity of landscapes, people, ideologies and interests.

Education

The students in our local schools today are the next generation of leaders, professionals and tradespeople who will run our local industries and shape our communities of the future. Sunshine Sugar is committed to supporting these students, whether it be through fundraising assistance, educational resources or workplace experience.
